Can national or cultural identity be distilled?


A designer named Yang Liu‘s has made an intriguing  East Meets West infographic series, it deals with issues from differences in self-perception to the evolution of transportation.

Although Liu was born in China, she lived in Germany since she was a young teenager and so has sampled both cultures in depth. See the whole infographic and read more at Brain Pickings here
