This article is an obvious example of how religion plays a large role in politics and ethics. Personally, I believe that beliefs and religious practices belonging to a large part of a population should be kept separate from how a country operates itself, whilst the country also has a tolerance for diverse religious practices and tends to those needs. Another’s personal beliefs should not be forced on another, in which this case resulted in the victim’s death.
